August is pretty booked up for me, though there is a possibility of doing some routes in RMNP the first week (Aug 1-7). September I have three weekends open, excluding the weekend of the 11th. I'm interested in any multi-pitch alpine trad routes. I can comfortably lead 5.8 to 5.9- and can follow quickly up to 5.10c. High on the list are Ellingwood's Arete and Stettner's Ledges/Kiener's Route combo. I'm also comfortable on steep snow and WI3. I can follow WI4. I am a very safe climber and have my WFR and CPR certifications.

Hey Nick.
My names Steve. I live up here in Estes Park and work for Rocky Mountain National Park. I love it up here. I have been to practically ever sport crag in the area, and have done several trad routes out at lumpy. I've also done a coupla alpine routes so far (Le Petit Grepon, and Spearhead).
I have been really getting into Alpine more recently.(Prefect place eh?). But it's been kinda hard finding partners who have the weekends off.
I have EVERY Friday, Saturday, AND sunday off this summer and pretty much want to climb EVERy day I have off.
I would definately be down to meet up sometime and climb.
I'm usually at about 5.11a-d on Sport, and 5.10a on trad.
Shoot me a message and we'll see what happens.
cheers.
steve

hey nick,
id be down to roll on some alpine with you. the only caveat is that i have no experience in an alpine environment worth mentioning. i am interested in ellingwood arete, kieners, and a whole mess of other climbs. i can lead 5.6 trad and probably moving towards getting on 7s within a week or two, have been climbing a fair amount since the end of may, and can move fast at altitude. if you dont mind taking a newbie up id be available on weekends. i also have ice gear that will be getting plenty of use this winter; so maybe i could start early. ill buy beer/food afterwards.

I'm looking at the Petit Grepon for Sept 18-19, weather permitting if anyone is interested.

Stephen: the only thing I know your way for alpine-rock is Lizard Head, which I'd like to climb. Come January I'll be heading to Ouray for ice if you're interested.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
