I'm looking for a bouldering area that has camping within a very close distance, preferably walking, in either WNC or East Tennessee. Any suggestions?

Rocktown has primitive camping just down a dirt road from the boulders. You have to buy a GORP pass from Georgia DNR.

Horsepens 40 has Camping at the boulderfield. Water, bathrooms, showers, and more expensive. $8-10 per night I think.

While in Georgia, Rocktown is fairly close to Chattanooga. HP is probably 1.5hrs south of Chattanooga.

The Lilly Boulderfield in the Obed (TN) is probably about a mile from Del & Marte's Lilly Pad campground. It's uphill both ways.

There's also backcountry camping allowed in the park but I don't know how close you could legally camp from the Boulders:

Great thanks for the suggestions! I will look into all of them :)
