Hi there,

My name is Ron and I just came to America a week ago to climb. I bought a car and on the process of regestering it in california i discovered it's transmission is toasted and had to get rid of it. Now I am on the bus to seattle and from there to squamish. I'll probably be there by tomorrow evening. I would like to climb there for a while before i start exploring all the sites in the state.

I have full gear (shoes, harnes, bellay divice, runners, 80 meter rope)

So is there any one who would take me under his wing? :)

Check out the Squamish Climbers Facebook page. Otherwise, stay in the Chief campground or at least hang around there and you'll find people to climb with. If you're desperate leave a note on the board by the campground registry/ info thing. Squamish is one of the easiest places to causally meet partners in the parking lot. You'll have no problem especially since you've got a rack and a rope to offer.

That is very comforting to hear.

Thank you

You will easily be able to find partners in Squamish. Go to the cook table by the slack lines at the chief campground the evening before you want to climb and you will find someone to climb with.

This is all you need to know.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
