Looking for a partner (with gear...) in the Valley, easy routes, 1st half of Oct

Hello everyone,

I'll be on family holidays for 2-3 months in the western part of the US (I have to leave all climbing gear at home... I'll take only shoes). At the beginning of October we arrive to Yosemite where we will stay 1-2 weeks and I would love to climb something there (1st time). Normally, I can lead 5.10a trad, but have no experience in Yosemite whatsoever so I have to choose even easier routes. If not here, do you think it's possible to find a partner at the camp (due to family responsibilities, "socializing" is rather not possible;)? Or the best option for me would be arranging a guided climb in YMS?

thanks in advance!
Jacek

Jacek, I think your best chance for finding a partner while you're in the valley is going to camp 4 and checking the bulletin board at the ranger kiosk. Best of luck finding a partner my friend!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
