Description Suggest change

This little buttress is on the quartzite rock entrusion at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon west of the granite. Definitely secluded and quite a hike, good quality quartzite routes await those who really want to "get away" from it all!

Getting There Suggest change

Start hiking from the North side parking lot at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon parking lot and either stay in the gully or start 4th classing up miles of quartzite bands littered with little pillars along the way. Lonely Bashie Buttress was along that huge ridge-like formation and I think we just got fatigued on a hot day and just did two 1 pitch routes on this pillar located about mid-height to the ridge line.
