Local Colorado Nonprofit that Takes Urban Teens Climbing Needs YOUR Help!

Hi fellow MP'ers!

During the past year, I co-founded a non profit in Denver with two friends that takes urban teens rock climbing in order to develop self-confidence, perseverance, and other life-long skills. Our organization, First Ascenders, has grown in less than a year to take over 100 inner-city teens climbing and given them the chance to get outside in a completely new way. That success was achieved with a little over $1,300 in individual and in-kind donations and 100% of donations went directly to programming for the kids because we are all working on a volunteer basis.

We are currently in a contest to win a $5,000 grant that would greatly expand our ability to reach students in-need. I need your help to spread the word and get the most votes for First Ascenders.
