Ale toproping Pumper Number 9 during the Halloween...

Description

Climbs are north facing, some completely shaded in a rock passage. Very secluded due to being somewhat hard to find. Rock quality is very good and features several cracks and a few face climbs.

Getting There

The Lizardhead Boulders are on the northwest flank of Little Dome, north of the Carnivores. Go to the Carnivores, then hike north along (over) the Dome until you see some rotten ramps going up some tall boulders. The climbs are all located on the other side of these boulders.

This amazing hand crack has a bouldery roof start that can be skipped by using the cheater boulder in front of the crack (resulting in a grade reduction to 5.8). Either way it's climbed, the route is a lot of fun.It can easily be toproped by climbing up the easy ramp located on the left side of the boulder formation....[more]   Browse More Classics in TX
