Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

This crag is great for sneaking in a quick session. It's close to the road and whether you're looking for shade or sun, both sides provide.

Getting There

Head down Geo Tour Road and drive past mile marker 3.5 then look for the small turnout on the right. Park here and cross the road, it's the clump of rocks directly across from the turnout.
