| Thank you! We made it back to my wedding on time. I passed you without asking because I figured that there were enough variations up there so as to not slow you down. But I think we did slow you down. I'm sorry. My friends spoke with you and told me how cool the two of you were. I want to tell you how much we all appreciated it. I hope you had as much fun as we did! Again, Thank you for being so understanding. | FLAG |

| Congratulations, Bobby! And... Dude, you almost missed your wedding because you went climbing? I hope that April was with you. | FLAG |

| :) Thanks, Brigette! We were right on schedule. We set the goal of being back at the car by 2:30, and we got there at 2:15 (5 pitches, 7 people, 3.5 hours). April was lounging in the pool when we got back. We will be in Tucson next weekend, but it is a whirlwind trip and not enough time for climbing. :( | FLAG |

| Bobby I love knowing you went climbing before your wedding :) (and that you had so many people at your wedding who wanted to go with you) | FLAG |

| Hah--I don't suppose you know a fellow named Justin, do you? This sounds suspiciously like a trip a coworker of mine took right around the same time. | FLAG |

| Yep, Justin is one of my best friends! You should go climb with him. He's a ton of fun. One day we were climbing in Salt Lake and it started sprinkling on us. He, being a meteorologist, suggested that we might wait it out on the ledge where we were standing, as there was no lightning in the area and the rain was not very hard. I agreed with him and began trying to think of some nice word game or conversation that we might use to occupy ourselves through this light precipitation. Before I could offer any suggestions, Justin drew from his back pocket a copy of Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass and proclaimed, "we can read some poetry while we wait." I laughed. "Sure. Sounds great." Just as Justin began reading from the small book--rope butterflied over his shoulders--lightning struck nearby with accompanying BOOM. That was the fastest either of us have ever set and utilized a rappel. That was nowhere close to the best of stories that I have about the man, simply the first to come to mind. | FLAG |
