BETA PHOTO: Base of the climb

Crux is clearly the traverse left at the roof across slippery bird mess. No positive feet on the wall, work the lip and bring that cranium around...reach for cleaner sandstone up and left.

25' right of Thin Flakes, start in the obvious wide corner.

Great route, except for the traverse at the end. It is a slippery, cramped little slab with no feet. Be prepared.

Great route, some fun offwidthing involved. I concur that the traverse at the end sucks. Def not 5.8 move.. A long wingspan works very well in your favor. Enjoy a pretty view at the top once you reach the massive ledge. Extend the anchor well.

  • ** There was some serious rock choss at the top above the traverse. Beware. Planning on some trundling when I get back.
