BETA PHOTO: Lakeside Rock and a very full Barker Dam, Joshua T...
Description
This slabby wall is home to a number of fun slab routes, some cracks and one ultra-classic sport route. Rock quality is average, but with a short approach and less than average traffic this might be a wall worth checking out.
Notable routes here include X-Rated Tits (5.9), an interesting bolt-protected groove to crack climb that has a name you'll either love or hate, An Eye for an Eye And a Route for a Route (5.10b), a well protected thin face route with a long name and the popular steep sport route Father Figure (5.12d) which is definitely not a slab.
Getting There
From the Barker Dam parking area follow the trail out to Barker Dam proper and look east to a light-colored slabby wall which is Lakeside Rock.

Shorter climbers may find the crux (and the route) to be harder than the rating indicates. To the left of this is Patracide, a decent ...[more]Browse More Classics in CA
