DescriptionLake Lanier is located about an hour North of Atlanta, GA. It is a beautiful, massive lake with 39,000 acres of water and 692 miles of shoreline. During the winter of 2008 the lake was 15-20 below "full pool" level. During this time, many rocks that were underwater since the lake was completed in 1956 were sitting on dry land, waiting for FA's.
