S. Davis climbs La Vaca Peligrosa. Super fun climb...
Add Photo Printer View
Description The absolute best, easy, pure, pocket pulling climb anywhere. If you don't have 3/4 fingers in a sinker pocket you're missing something. Fantastic motion up a vert wall, this is not a "slab climb" but let's the sub 5.10 climber enjoy the thrills of perfect limestone pulldowns.
Location In the last cluster of routes at the far R (S) end of the Corral
Protection 5 or 6 bolts, dbl anchors at the top

I heard that this climb (along with other "easy" climbs in the area) has been chopped. If this is the case, hopefully it will be re-equipped early in the season.

Was just out there two weeks ago, didnt do it but saw it. The bolts were either replaced or never chopped. Looked fun though.

Very fun pocket climb -- what limestone climbing is all about. It didn't look like the bolts had ever been chopped from this or any of the easier routes.

Damion, your route made the classics list. I think that would have made you happy. We miss you!

If you are trying to locate this climb, I added a photo that shows both La Vaca Peligrosa and 'R' is for Redneck (the photo is listed under the description for Redneck).
