| Get the one that fits your foot. No matter how many times I tried on Mocs I thought they didn't fit my foot. I tried on Cobras once and said "yep, these fit like my other sportivas..." | FLAG |

| Two completely different shoes: Cobras are bouldering slippers with a slight downturn in a toe and better edging, Moccs are all-day comfort shoes good for crack climbing and easy trad. | FLAG |

| I disagree pretty hard with the "mocs are a comfort shoe for trad" mentality. As long as you've got a fairly tight shoe, the moc can do a pretty spectacular job on almost any terrain, although edging on the smallest holds is going to be a problem. I do bust out my 5.10 teams for anything steeper than 40 degrees or verdes for super-hard vertical crimping, but until you're climbing 5.12+, the moc can do anything you want it to. All of that being said, get the shoe that fits you. If the cobra fits your foot shape, you're going to climb a hell of a lot harder (and happier) than you would in a moc. And vice-versa. (If you do get a moc, size it extremely tight. They do stretch like hell over time.) | FLAG |

| I think the Cobra's are more asymmetrical, feature a thinner sole, and have a better build quality than the moccs. The dye in the Cobra's is also much mellower- they don't stain my feet at all (if you care about that). Also, I couldn't wear the Moccs because the stitching in the inside of the shoe was quite sharp and abrasive on my ankle. The Cobra's are snug but comfortable. | FLAG |
