The Kung-Fu Area is characterized by a combination of large blocks and enclosed caves. These blocks are located at the mouth of the canyon, just before it narrows, giving it more time in the sun. The majority of the climbs in this area are in the V0 - V3 range.

Getting There 

From the lower parking lot this is the first area you reach at the top of the talus slope.

Cow Skull V5 6C  CA : Sierra Eastside : ... : Cow Skull Boulder
A short, fun roof problem. Start on the rock on the south (roadside/entrance) side of this suspended boulder and pull onto jugs. Work your way along this side into Kung Fu area using heel hooks and some holds buried in the seam with the boulder to the right. Hit a huge hueco and pull up into a standing position about 10' off the ground at another large hueco.
