DescriptionKindergarten Rock is a large, somewhat broken crag sitting downslope from Preschool Rock that offers a number of moderate crack and face routes on it's east face, and is readily identified by the power lines running next to the rock. Getting ThereFrom Preschool Rock head right and follow a trail, which somewhat parallels the power lines, leading downslope to Kindergarten Rock which rises out of a seasonal stream. This is the discontinuous crack system just right of Kindergarten Cop. Follow the thin crack, past a horizontal, up and right to a nice hand crack. Continue up the hand crack until it runs out, finishing up and left to the anchor for Kindergarten Cop. The crux comes early and we felt the climb was easier than the 5.8 rating given in Hidden Treasures, with most of the climb going at 5.6. A fun climb with great feet, good ledges and nice jams.
