Description

Swift Camp Creek is a large tributary of the Red River. It flows through downtown Campton where it picks up some nice additives and continues through a tight, remote gorge past Rock Bridge into an even tighter, more remote gorge. It empties into the Red River just above the concrete bridge.

Climbing areas that are located in this drainage are Wildcat Wall, Sky Bridge Ridge, Funk Rock City, and Camp Store Crag.

Getting There

Access for Funk Rock, Camp Store and Sky Bridge Ridge are located a short dirve east past the concrete bridge. Wildcat Wall can be reached from the Wildcat Trailhead on top of the ridge along 715.
