Description

Lumpy Wall is a remote and obscure area on the Little East Fork of Indian Creek.

Getting There

Drive along FS Rd. 9b until you must cross a concrete ford (DO NOT CROSS IN HIGH WATER!). Park near the ford on either side and hike up the gated FS road on the opposite (east) side. Follow this road until it climbs out of the floodplain of the creek and passes beneath a huge boulder. Immediately past the boulder take a road up left. Follow this until it surpasses a limestone band and then bear left through a sort of bowl with large boulders to the ridgecrest. You should see the large pinnacle, Major's Pinnacle almost immediately. The main wall can be found by hiking along the ridge to the right unti lyou come to the main cliff. Older published routes are to the left, Steal Your Thunder and Razor Burn are located a few hundred yards to the right, across the minor drainage from Major's.
