Description

South facing, tall and variable rock quality characterize this wall. There is a nice snapshot of RRG climbing here, from 5.10-11 vertical slab sport to short moderate trad, to multi-pitch trad. Not a lot of any one type of climbing, but a good selection of each.

Getting There

Follow the trail up to a split at a large boulder. Hike left and up the hill for Emerald City and right along a bench to the bouldering area and Global Village.

Then mantel (or dyno!) your way to easier ground and the anchors.Beautiful stone and great moves make for a classic (though anti-sterotypical) RRG climb....[more]   Browse More Classics in KY

Some of the best low-angle (just vertical, but not overhanging) routes in the Red are here!

For all of you who like these sub-vertical, edgy face routes, be sure to check out Rodeo Wall if you're ever in Jackson, WY. Very similar climbs.
