Drew Peterson flashing Keep Your Powder Dry, Troph...

RAIN AND WET ROCK The sandstone in Red Rocks is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. MORE INFO >>>

Keep Your Powder Dry climbs the steepest part of the Trophy Wall. It starts on jugs, moves into several cruxes and gives you a rest on a ledge more than half way up. Execute through a few more vertical boulder problems and clip the chains at the very top of the Trophy Wall.

The very center of the Trophy Wall; climb out the steepest part of wall.

10 bolts, usually has fixed draws

Was just there yesterday (3/5/16) and after a fall finishing the 12a section the first permadraw came off of the bolt. Left the biner, draw, and hanger at the base, route is still climbable but should be replaced. Trying to figure out who to contact more specifically about this.

The 5th bolt is still loose on this route and unable to be tightened. The first four chains no longer have biners on them. They were gone when we arrived.

EDIT: (5/21/15) Was just back today. Someone put brand new biners on first five draws. Thank you Simon.
