Description 

Kayenta is an upper class housing development on the west side of Ivins. The rock quality varies and is typically softer than Snow Canyon sandstone.

Getting There 

Take highway 91 from Saint George several miles past Santa Clara. Look for a big sign that says Kayenta, turn right. Follow this road past the coffee shop and art galleries ( a cool place to check out) until you get lost in the maze of streets. The goal is to find the edge of the houses and a dirt road that goes to a water tank. see map.
