Description This beautiful line forms up only in the best of years. Moderate climbing leads to the base of the ice streak on the upper wall. The upper half of the route is very steep and sustained, and on the FA brittle as well (temp well below zero F).
Location The route lies between Icebreakers to the right and Icebreakers Arete to the left. Access is from Domtar 81 road. Park below the route and head straight for it. As you get through the new-growth pines and enter the forest, watch for flagging tape marking the trail to the Icebreakers area. About 45 minutes to an hour. Rappel from the anchors at the top of the Thermocules chimney When Eric and I did the FA, the road wasn't plowed so we got there real early to start the hike. We got lucky and were able to hitch rides with a couple trappers on snowmobiles, saving us about 2 miles of hike!
Protection Ice screws for pro, belay from trees at the top.
