Resting up for the powerful juggy roof ahead.
Add Photo Printer View
Description The bottom of this route is full of sloping dishes on a strange for Maple, smooth wall. The upper bit climbs through the roof with some powerful climbing to start. Move up sloping holds in the white and orange rock past the first few bolts. The climbing eases a bit above with some jugs here and there that always seem to be in the wrong place to really rest well on. Move up to the roof and rest up. Attack the roof using several small holds or a long reach to get established in the steep open corner. Move up and left out of the corner to the lip and the anchors just above.
Location This route goes through a vague open dihedral through the roof at the left end of the cliff. It is the second route left of Lunchables.
Protection Bolts and a fixed anchor.

| Wow! Really fun route with sustained face climbing to a gymnastic roof sequence. Amongst the top 10 routes I've done at maple... Not a 13a though especially when compared to loser in the box canyon. |
