DescriptionThis is a sunny, secluded 250' cliff with dozens of cracklines on super high-quality BTC granite. Getting TherePark in the pullout beneath Nancy's Rock, across the road from Idlewild Dam. Hike up the trail to Nancy's Rock, then veer right around the cliff band and straight up the broad, grassy ridge. There is no trail, nor a good way to describe the details of the approach. My photos of the hillside will be the best tool for finding the crag. 45-60 minute uphill approach. This is an exciting and airy pitch that climbs the golden hanging slab in the center of the cliff.25' above the starting ledge is a small pine growing out of the cliff. Directly above this pine is a big right-facing corner capped by a big roof. Wake The Flake starts up this corner, via a surly little fingercrack through a bulge / roof, then traverses out right onto the slab to gain the hanging flake out there.
