We drove up to DL that weekend, only to find that the park was closed because of flooding. We drove around looking for access through one of the Ice Age Trail heads. Almost all of them had a posted sign that said closed. The trail head that leads into the park closest to the Sandstone area did not have a sign posted when we got there. So we parked and walked in. When we got back to the car, there was a fresh new sign posted "Park Closed" and we found this "Courtesy Notice" on my windshield. We arrived at the park around 9:30am, got the notice at 10:00am, and didnt get back to the car till 3:30pm. So we just missed the sign being posted. Thank god it wasn't a ticket.
