No vehicle access, but open to foot traffic MORE INFO >>>
Washington Climbers Coalition's permittee status under the landowner's easement with Washington State DNR has been revoked due to liability concerns and increased traffic. Vehicular access beyond the gate is currently not allowed. Gold Bar is still open to foot traffic. WCC and Access Fund are actively working with the landowner and DNR to find a solution. Stay posted at www.washingtonclimbers.org.
This information is a public crowdsourcing effort between the Access Fund,
and Mountain Project. You should confirm closures, restrictions, and/or related dates.

Keeping climbing areas open and conserving the climbing environment

Description Start on a good hold and move left to a better hold. Go high to a good hold on the lip, then reach up with the left to a better hold and mantle. Voila. Still needs a bit of cleaning (I'm not quite tall enough to get it all).
Location The freshly scrubbed boulder with a nose-like protrusion in the middle; roughly 30m uphill and right of the Obelisk boulder.
Protection Great landing
