Attempting La Zebree (5.14a) at Mont King, Quebec, over Labor Day weekend. Such an amazing route. No send. Just wish I lived closer.

Jay: Looks like this thing was dry for your visit? I have read that this crack can be very wet at times. Looks like it from the water streak's on the rock. Super kick ass if you sent this thing!!! Kick ass if you didn't but had fun trying..... Wow!

No, I didn't send. I had fun trying though. The start was a bit wet, but otherwise the conditions were really dry. The crack is just amazing. It's 60 feet, overhanging, angling, goes through two roofs, and has only two face holds. Every other hold is a jam. It's pretty unique to have such a pure crack out here, and to find one that is so hard, it's just perfect.
