BETA PHOTO: The north face of January Wall on the South Bluff

Description

January Wall is the block of rock that stands in the southwest corner of the grouping of the three major rock formations on the South Bluff. The wall is steep and about 30 feet tall. There is climbing on the north face of the wall.

Getting There

Head up to the easternmost talus slope on the south bluff, southwest of the group camp area. The best approach is to walk east along the railroad tracks from the South Shore parking lot. Walk until you reach two white and orange markers on either side of the tracks. Head up the bluff here and bushwack until you reach talus. You will see the rock walls near the top of the talus slope.
