Description A few years ago a large chunk of rock fell out of the hillside behind Streetcar Named Desire during a rainstorm. What used to comprise a .12a sport route and two cracks including Enter the Dragon (.9) and Fists of Fury (.10a) is now a very tall and very difficult boulder problem. It climbs a sweeping, beautiful, 45 degree marbled brown face to a lip and then a thin, glassy, lower angled rust-colored face to a finish at least 25 feet off the desert floor.
Location As you approach the Streetcar Named Desire boulder, head off to the right towards the obvious large brown block. The climb is on the southwest side (right if you are looking towards the Gunsmoke traverse. Down-climb uncertain; plan accordingly.
Protection Several crash pads, preferably large ones; highly competent spotters; ice packs and ankle wrap on standby.
