Aladdin's Buttress from the side, with the Couloir...

Description

The central and tallest buttress of Coire an t-Sneachda. Home to several mid-grade classics and excellent gullies. In general, the steep rock is bordered by Aladdin's Couloir on the left and Aladdin's Mirror on the right, with the spire of Aladdin's Seat marking the top. In between are mixed routes and several pure ice pitches.

Getting There

The large, triangular buttress in the center of the Coire. To descend, walk off right towards the peak of Cairn Lochain and walk down the snowfield, or use Aladdin's Couloir.
