DescriptionBen Nevis is the highest mountain in the United Kingdom. Despite its relatively low height 'The Ben' puts up a good fight and anybody climbing on her flanks needs to ensure they are properly equipped. Getting ThereFrom Fort William, follow the signs for Glen Nevis. The parking is obvious for the start of the trail up the mountain. Climbers, hikers and tourists all start at the same point. About 1/3 of the way up the 'tourist path' take a left turn and skirt the side of the mountain (going North), and then East below the main face. Follow this face until the appropriate crag is reached, and then hike up to its base.
