Description 

Climb initial steep bulges to the comfortable ledge where you can stand and de-pump. From here commit to the vertical crux section (WI5/5+ - depending on conditions).


Location 

The route is located around the buttress to the right of Getting Oriented (see beta photos 1 and 2 ). Approach is the same as for Getting Oriented.


Protection 

We only needed ice screws although "Ice Climbs of the Lake Superior Region" mentions that rock gear may be needed in lean conditions.
