Start sitting or crouched under the beak as far back as you can get. Undercling and crimp out and layback hands around the "beak" itself and work back left and up to top out mantel with body on left side. Standing start is easier.
Location
This problem is located close to the highway and is one of the first you come to when entering the boulderfield. Just as you come into the boulders there is a depression with a huge horizontal log balanced in it. The Beak is just north of the north end of this log, a distinctive south-facing undercut arete with a seasonal pool of water underneath.
Protection
Landing can be a pool of water during spring high water.
