Description

granite boulders (slightly smoother than Squamish boulders, or at least it seemed to me) within a pine forest. the landings here are super safe for the most part and could easily get by with just a bouldering pad.

Getting There

head up hwy 99 past Whistler, pull into a gravel parking lot right before the 2nd railroad crossing. park and walk along the the trail just off the tracks NOT ON THE TRACKS!!! cross the tracks and into the woods you go.

Great area 1 hour north of Squamish. Worth trying for a day or two. Nice forest setting, easy access, safe flat landings and mostly empty. Loaded with safe, fun moderates and beatiful rock. Boulders are being recleaned, worth a first or second look

Pemberton and area is full of untouched, great boulder fields and clifflines just waiting to be scrubbed and climbed. The amount of bouldering and climbing potential here is huge. Come on up and discover for yourself.
