Description

To the left of Hungry Wolf is the somewhat improbable line of Hunters Moon. Same start as Hungry wolf, but continue out left past the big ledge below Hungry Wolf p2 to the arete. A hidden dike will appear on the arete just after the tricky slab move and offer temporary sanctuary. Clip the single bolt in the dike. From the awkward dike continue out right and up the thin crack that becomes a seemingly impossible flare. Some creative thinking sees you through this short but interesting section. Continue on up a slab to a treed ledge below a 5.10 face crack(p2-often dirty), ascend this to the shared anchors of Hungry Wolf.

Location

Gobsmacking Wall. See Hungry Wolf description.

Protection

Doubles to #1 Camalot, one #2. Much thin.

Bolted anchors were added to both pitches as of this year. The tree at the top of pitch 1 is now gone. The old protection bolt on Pitch 1 has ben replaced by a shiny new one.
