Description

The Fraser Valley is the large area spanning from Abotsford to Hope B.C. The climbing in the area is mostly single pitch trad routes and bolted sport routes. There are also several major and popular mountains in this area (i.e. Mt. Slesse, Rexford, and the Cheam Range). The Rock can vary from solid granite to limestone and, unfortunately, some very loose and flaky volcanic rock (mostly in the Cheam Range).

Getting There

From Vancouver follow Hwy 1 east until you reach the valley.

A fingery rail at head height begins on the far left of the boulder. Begin here and traverse into Pale Face Direct. Finish as for the direct version. Very good problem. ...[more]   Browse More Classics in International

I went to the othello tunnels and saw a bolt next to what looked to be a cool line, just wondering if anyone has any info on the area.

It's a line that the riggers created during the filming of First Blood. not an actual route per se. The bolts are old non-stainless ones too.
