The awesome spires of Cape Raoul.

Description

Cape Raoul is the ultimate wilderness climbing destination. Isolated from civilization, difficult to access, and pummeled by constant storms, any trip to this crag is the complete adventure.

Cape Raoul is also home to an amazing array of dolerite columns, perched precariously above the Tasman Sea.

Getting There

Cape Raoul is located on the SW point of the Tasman Peninsula. The approach trail is accessed from Stormlea road, and involves a long hike on a good track. Once at land's end, a difficult, involved descent through heinous foliage is required to access the spires.
