Description 

Cape Hauy's main attraction needs no introduction. The Totem Pole is probably the sickest tower in the world. But this area also features the Candlestick, another brilliant sea-stack with a character all its own.

This is a beautiful, wild place, and is a must-see destination for climbers and hikers alike. If these routes are a bit too spicey for your tastes, you absolutely must hike out to see them.

Getting There 

A well maintained trail heads south from the Fortescue Bay beach. After about 90 minutes of rolling terrain the trail ends abruptly. From this point head north along a subtle climber's trail, down the gently sloping north side of the cape. Eventually you will be able to traverse west with a few easy downclimbs. Once the Tote is visible, head back south to a bolted belay anchor.
