Injury fall, left gear in Adirondacks

I was climbing Blacksmith on Saturday, a 10a in Chapel Pond pass at the Lower Beer Wall, in Pegasus area. I left behind the following gear in the route after taking a 40 foot fall that broke my ankle:

1 purple BD camalot
1 green BD camalot
1 red BD camalot
1 gold BD camalot
2 nylon slings
2 orange Camp 'biners

It was the last climb of the day of course, and I had to head home to Philly the next day. If anyone is in the area and wants to help a fellow climber out, you'll get Christmas cards and an invitation to our Festivus celebrations this year!

Ouch! Glad it wasn't worse.

Send your partner back to get it! Hope you get your gear back.

Contact the Mountaineer in Keene Valley in case some kind soul tries to find out who lost gear through them. That much gear left on a route makes it pretty obvious there was an accident.

Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely be reaching out to the local climb shops.

I also want to say that the local park Rangers are amazing. They're the ones listed as search and rescue in the front of Adirondack Rock.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
