| To make a long story short I'm relocating to UT in January and am looking for recommendations for orthopedic doc's. Specifically shoulder guys. If more info is needed I'll gladly post it. Salt Lake or Moab areas are preferable but I'll drive to wherever if it's going to get me fixed :)
Thanks! | |

| I'm sure that guy at the U of U is fantastic. The only problem with going to a doc at any university hospital is that you are never really sure they won't let their resident do the surgery. They may tell you they'll do it, but then let their resident close. That's what happened to my knee and it got infected and I have a terrible outcome.
That said, I'd go with a guy in private practice. I'm thinking Bruce Evans at Salt Lake Orthopedics (St Mark's Hospital). I've seen a lot of his shoulder patients and they have really good outcomes.

| Well, hopefully surgery isn't going to be required again. I had arthroscopic surgery last January to remove some inflammation around ye old rotator cuff and shave the acromion. While surgery and recovery presumably went really well I'm still having all sorts of problems with muscles being pulled and what looks to be a bone spur...so we'll see what happens.
Hopefully I'll be looking for climbing partners in a few months or so at most.
