Barefoot on the summit of Mount of the Holy Cross.

Hey, I helped in the rescue (well hauled packs to the car) for an injured climber from Seattle. I have a few more of his items that I need to get back to him and his family. Does anyone have any contact information for him?
Thanks.

Looking down from Notchtop

By the time we drove out at 5:00PM there was nothing going on. Was this later in the day?

Barefoot on the summit of Mount of the Holy Cross.

We had finished Yellow Spur and the rappels to find that someone had decked from Grandmother's Challenge. EMT was on site and Rescue had been called. It appeared that he broke both feet/ankles and possible impact to his spine. This happened about 12:30-1pm. Rescue arrived soon after and he was in the ambulance at about 3:30pm. It is my understanding he had placed no protection at the time of fall and hit a ledge then the ground feet first. The couple is from Seattle visiting relatives, the husband fell, the wife and sister-in-law are ok. When the extraction was underway some of the Rocky Mtn Fire left for another call in the canyon, but we never saw where that was.

Half Dome

From my understanding he fell 30' to the ground on the Green Spur and was 51 years old. Hope he has a speedy recovery. He was alert and talking with the EMT's, but certainly in some pain...fractured both ankles and lower back pain.
