Just saw this in the Daily Camera:

Rescuers responded to a report of a fallen climber in Eldorado Canyon State Park this afternoon.

Officers were called to 9 Kneale Road in the park at about 12:57 p.m., said Sgt. Vinnie Montez, with the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.

Police dispatchers reported the person had head injuries and was bleeding.

The climber was being treated on Fowler Trail, which is about one mile from the park boundary, Montez said.

The climber has been identified as a 23-year-old man from Westminster, but his name hasn't been released.

He accidentally slipped off the back decent of the Bastille climbing area and fell about 30 feet, according to the sheriff's office. He was helped to the trailhead below the climbing area, and was treated for cuts to his head and other body parts.

He was taken to Avista Adventist Hospital in Louisville but was conscious and alert, the sheriff's office reported.
