Hi, i'm a french climber. I'm doing a climbing trip in the ouest os usa. I'm currently in mammoth lakes and i would like to do bouldering in Bishop this afternoon. But i don't have crash pad and i don't know the spot. Can you indicate me some boulders where i can find climber ?
Thank you for help.

I don't know how many people will be out today because it's off-season and mid-week, but you can try the Buttermilks this afternoon when things go into the shade.

Directions (from the MP page):
From downtown Bishop, take W. Line Street/Highway 168 west towards the Sierras. After eight miles or so, turn right onto Buttermilk Road. Follow this bumpy, washboard road for approximately 3.5 miles to the main area on your right. If you pass the Peabodies without noticing, you probably aren't a climber because they are gigantic. The boulders are incredibly obvious on the right (north) side of the road. Park in designated areas.

You can also rent crash pads at Wilson's (on the main street in Bishop).

Another option is to go to one of the higher elevation areas closer to Mammoth. Mammoth Mountaineering would have better advice than me on where you are likely to find other people.
