A friend and I will be flying into moab 3/28 and leaving 4/4.
It will be out first visit. The group we were going to be with fell through so were collecting more cams from friends in the Bay Area for our trip.
It would be nice to meet up with some folks. Other virgins and/or seasoned people. Also, any helpful tips on camping (in or out of the creek), food, water, etc.

Thanks!
Jen

bring lots of your own water. Creek pasture or the super bowl is your easy camping.Super crack and donelly canyon are always popular and you might not even need a rack if you go from top rope to top rope. PBR is money. Monticello is the closest anything. there is no cell service. learn to tape with the help of the internet and bring plenty if you don't want your hands to be bleeding ground meat. have a good time Rob Warden, Space Lizard

I'll be there that week! I might be without a partner as well, not sure yet. Even if she can make it, I usually enjoy to have a group. It's very easy to find partners there... The crux can be finding enough wide gear. Got anything in the 4+ inch size?? I've been a few times, I have a decent rack. Let's try and meet up! Loganator

Thanks for the responses!

Good to know about the closest town and the PBR :-)

Ill have a few #4's. maybe 4 of them. Looks like some people from the Bay Area will be coming that Wednesday 4/2 so that's more gear and more people. Definitely stay in touch as the time nears!!!

I live in Monticello and am looking to get out to the creek for the first time!

I should be free sometime around then and would love to get on a wall with some more experienced climbers.

I dont have any gear but can bring plenty of PBR!
