Description

The name is probably an allusion to the alpine granite feel to the rock at Section 13. Farris says, 'Start of the right side of the flake at the bottom, and traverse right to a thin crack'. The flake is the other side of the formation that you started on for "In Limbo".

Location

Climber's left of Macho Pitchu, and right of In Limbo.

I belayed Steve Mankenberg on his first ascent of this route. For some reason the actual climbing reminded him of Yosemite valley. I didn't get it at the time and still don't get it today, but hey, he did the first ascent and got naming rights. This was the last of the absolutely classic lines at Section 13 to be discovered and ascended.
