The Cow and Calf at sunset

Description 

The crag is situated on the outskirts of the town of Ilkley on its southern edge. It is easily seen from the road as you approach it as it sits on the edge of Ilkley Moor.

The crag is dominated by the Cow and Calf, the prominent Square cut buttress and large boulder at its foot.

Not to be missed is the Ilkley Quarry on the left of the Cow. Half a mile on the right are the Rocky Valley buttress.


Getting There 

Drive south form the town of Ilkley along Hanging Stone Road.
