Unfortunately, some outdoor organization with the U will be taking out a massive group of people to the Slips all day Saturday. I know most people who read this probably have zero interest or need to go to this area, but I thought I would share a heads-up with the general community in case you were thinking of climbing in the area or surrounding areas which share/adjoin parking.

From what I know, they could be rotating in and out upwards of 40 people who have never climbed before. Yes, you read that right.

(Maybe someone should also give the FD a heads up....)

I like the heads up. I always thought this would be a good idea for university groups doing stuff like this. In CO, I used to be friends with folk that would take out loads of people from DU.

I think that a friendly heads up from these group leaders on mp would be a decent thing to do. Not 'calling dibs' on a crag by any means, just letting people know. Like you said though, if it'd be easy to switch your plans it may save a few headaches, why not.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
