Limited Sections of The Kids Climbing Area, SchoolRoom and Southpark will OPEN Saturday December 15 and Sunday December 16

The Lower Gorge from the �High Bridge� North to 3rd Avenue will remain CLOSED
The Lead Only Area, The Alcove, The Verminator Area, Graduate School and New Funteer will remain CLOSED
The ENTIRE park will CLOSE Sunday afternoon December 16 at 5pm, and will remain CLOSED from Monday December 17 to Friday December 21 for the purpose of 24 hour icemaking.

WE ANTICIPATE A PROBABLE OPENING OF THE ENTIRE OURAY ICE PARK ON SATURDAY DECEMBER 22 PROVIDED THE COLD TEMPERATURES CONTINUE!!"

Hmm...well that is not good. I was planning to climb from the 17th-21st - had to change my reservations to the first week in Janurary. This kinda sucks for the local economy. I am sure others will be canceling room accommodations as well.

Will have to climb elsewhere next week,
