Description Suggest change

A nice ice climbing area on the shore of Lake Superior with some excellent long routes. Definitely worth a day of your trip to the Nipigon area.

Getting There Suggest change

From Nipigon take Highway 17 South for about 60 kilometers (the compass will say East, but hey it's Canada and sometimes they need to believe they are heading south). Eventually the road will make a sweeping left hand turn while climbing a big hill. Near the top of the hill you will find a turnout on either side of the road - park here. Walk back down the hill along the guardrail until you locate a climbers trail heading down to the lake and the railroad tracks.
