Add Photo Printer View
Description Ice Invaders is a fun and easy climb, perfect for new ice climbers and leaders. Not very steep, plenty of rests, with a few steeper spots. Steepest right near the top-out when I climbed it. Top out and walk about 15 feet up the stream to a tree on the right with webbing, belay and rap from here. 2 rope rappel.
Location Located in the Tempest Area 2 climbs to the left of Tempest, easily seen from the road. Short approach, but through possibly deep snow, up talus. Reference: NORTH OF SUPERIOR ORIENT BAY ICE CLIMBER'S GUIDE Shaun Parent, 1993
Protection Protection: Screws, 4-5 Anchor to tree at top 2 rope rappel
